Theaterfest

A wonderfully sunny Sunday heralds the beginning of the new year here at Kassel, with a free day of concerts and demonstrations at the opera house. I sing in a concert to introduce the new ensemble members, and then in one to promote the forthcoming Vivaldi (L'Olimpiade, in which I play 'Argene').

Outside there is a merry-go-round for the children and beer for the adults, and Kassel hangs thick with red helium balloons.
