I am honoured to have been voted for by listeners of the Classical show on the Women's Radio Station to receive the Future Classical Woman of the Year Award 2020.
In January, I sat down in the studio with host Stefania Passamonte to talk about career, motherhood and womanhood, and some of the crises facing our industry, as well as its beautiful side. I was delighted when I was rung up several months later in the midst of a Lockdown to hear the news that I had been voted for by the Women's Radio listeners (thank you, if you are among their number). It was a ray of sunshine in a rather tumultuous year.
